By using our website, uploading files, or engaging e-Fuse for services, you consent to the collection and handling of your personal information as described in this policy.

  • Full name and job title
  • Business name and ABN
  • Email address and phone number
  • Business mailing address

2.2 Project and Content Information

  • Documents, files, videos, audio, and other materials uploaded to our platform for conversion into eLearning content
  • Project briefs, feedback, and correspondence related to your project
  • Any personal information contained within the files you submit to us

2.3 Financial Information

  • Invoicing details including business name, ABN, and billing address
  • Note: e-Fuse does not directly collect or store credit card or bank account details — payment processing is handled by third-party payment providers

  • IP address and browser type
  • Pages visited and time spent on our website
  • Referring URLs and device information
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 9)

How We Collect Personal Information

We collect personal information in the following ways:

  • Directly from you when you contact us, request a quote, or engage our services
  • When you upload files or submit content via our website upload portal
  • Through email, phone, or other communications with us
  • Automatically when you visit our website via cookies and analytics tools
  • From third parties such as referral partners or publicly available sources, where relevant to our services

Where practicable, we will collect personal information directly from the individual concerned. We will always tell you why we are collecting your information at or before the time of collection.

We collect and use personal information for the following purposes:

  • To provide our eLearning conversion and development services
  • To communicate with you about your project, including sending quotes, updates, and invoices

  • To send you relevant business updates, service announcements, or marketing communications (where you have consented or where permitted by law)

How We Handle Content You Submit

When you upload documents, presentations, videos, audio files, or other materials to e-Fuse for conversion into eLearning content, those files may contain personal information about third parties (such as your employees, customers, or students).

We handle submitted content as follows:

  • We use submitted files solely for the purpose of completing your project
  • We do not use your submitted content for our own marketing, portfolio samples, demonstrations, or staff training without your prior written consent
  • Access to your files is restricted to e-Fuse team members and contractors who need access to complete your project, all of whom are bound by confidentiality obligations
  • Files are retained for up to 12 months after project completion and then securely deleted, unless a different retention period is agreed in writing or required by law

You are responsible for ensuring you have the appropriate authority and consents to share any personal information contained in files you submit to us.

Disclosure of Personal Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to third parties.

We may disclose personal information to:

  • Our employees and contractors who assist in delivering our services, on a need-to-know basis and subject to confidentiality obligations
  • Third-party service providers who assist us in operating our business, such as cloud storage providers, project management platforms, email services, and payment processors — these providers are required to handle personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws
  • Professional advisors including lawyers, accountants, and insurers, where necessary
  • Government agencies, regulators, or law enforcement bodies where required or permitted by law

Where we engage third-party service providers, we take reasonable steps to ensure they have appropriate privacy and security practices in place.

Overseas Disclosure

Some of our third-party service providers (such as cloud storage or software platforms) may store or process data on servers located outside Australia, including in the United States or the European Union.

Where personal information is disclosed to overseas recipients, we take reasonable steps to ensure those recipients handle the information in a manner consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles. By using our services, you consent to your personal information being transferred to overseas recipients where necessary for the delivery of our services.

While we take these steps to protect your information, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and encourage you to take care when sharing sensitive information online.

In the event of a data breach that is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) as required under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

Accessing and Correcting Your Personal Information

You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, and to request that we correct any information that is inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date.

To make an access or correction request, please contact us using the details in Section 13. We will respond to your request within a reasonable timeframe (generally within 30 days).

In some circumstances, we may be unable to provide access (for example, where doing so would unreasonably impact the privacy of another individual, or where access is otherwise restricted by law). If we deny access, we will provide written reasons.

We do not charge a fee for making an access request, though we may charge a reasonable fee to cover the cost of providing access in some circumstances.

If you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles or this Privacy Policy, you may lodge a complaint with us by contacting us using the details in Section 13.

We will acknowledge your complaint within five (5) business days and aim to resolve it within thirty (30) days. If we are unable to resolve your complaint to your satisfaction, you may refer your complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC):
